[Tzuyu's POV]
It’s almost midnight, and Hyunsik is practically bouncing off the walls with excitement. The guy’s been pacing around the living room for the last hour, glancing at the clock every five minutes like a kid waiting for his birthday cake. He doesn’t know that there’s a little surprise in store.
We’d planned this small birthday gathering, but what’s going to make his night is who’s showing up at the stroke of midnight.
I’m in the kitchen, making sure the cake is all set when the doorbell rings, and I swear, Hyunsik’s reaction is priceless. He freezes, his face lighting up like a Christmas tree.
“Is that…?” he stammers, rushing to the door. I can barely suppress my grin as I follow him, knowing exactly who’s waiting outside.
As the door swings open, there they are — Y/n and Jungkook, standing side by side, helmets in hand, and Y/n looking a little flustered, probably from the bike ride. Hyunsik’s face is a mix of pure shock and joy.
“Y/n! You actually came!” Hyunsik exclaims, pulling her into a bear hug. He’s acting like it’s the greatest gift he could ever get, and honestly, it probably is.
The two of them go way back, and even though they don’t see each other as often anymore, their bond hasn’t weakened one bit.
Y/n laughs, her arms around him. “Of course, I did! You must thank Jungkook for I got the power to pull this off cause of him.”
Jungkook stands to the side, watching them with a soft smile. It’s like he’s enjoying watching her be happy with her old friend.
I catch Jungkook glancing at her, his gaze lingering just a little longer than normal, like he’s soaking up every second.
After a few more minutes of Hyunsik’s excited rambling about how much he is happy for his birthday and how great it is that she’s here, he finally acknowledges Jungkook with a handshake that turns into a brief bro-hug.
It’s funny because even though they act all casual, there’s always this underlying competitiveness between them. But tonight, it seems to be all good vibes.
The living room is buzzing with energy, and as everyone settles in, I notice Jungkook still standing off to the side, his eyes trailing after Y/n wherever she goes. She’s laughing, chatting with Hyunsik, and Jungkook’s barely paying attention to anyone else.
I make my way over to him, curious about this whole situation. “Hey, you must be Jungkook,” I say with a grin, extending my hand. “I’m Tzuyu, Hyunsik’s fiancée, we finally meet after those long calls of planning.”
Jungkook turns his attention to me, shaking my hand with a polite nod. “Nice to meet you, I had a hunch you're a real nice girl, Tzuyu. Hyunsik talks about you a lot.”
“Oh, does he now?” I laugh, and we both share a brief moment of mutual understanding. “So, I’ve been watching you watch her,” I tease, gesturing toward Y/n, who’s still chatting animatedly with Hyunsik. “You’ve got that lovesick puppy look going on.”
He chuckles, rubbing the back of his neck, clearly not embarrassed about being caught. “I guess I can’t help it. She just… I don’t know, she’s everything.”
I raise an eyebrow, intrigued by his openness. “You’re already talking like she’s your wife or something. You two aren’t even officially dating yet, are you?”
Jungkook grins, shaking his head. “Not yet. But I’m patient. I'm happy with this going slow. I know she’s the one, so I don’t mind waiting.”
“Well, that’s sweet,” I say, playfully nudging his arm. “But you know, if you keep staring at her like that, she might think you’re some kind of goofball with animated eyes stuck at her.”
He laughs again, looking down at his shoes for a second before glancing back at Y/n. “I just… I can’t take my eyes off her sometimes. It’s like she’s this constant in my life, and even though we’ve been apart for so long, I feel like she knows me better than anyone else ever could.”
I nod, understanding where he’s coming from. There’s something special about those kinds of connections, the ones that survive time and distance. “So, when are you going to make a move and actually date her? You seem pretty sure about your feelings.”
Jungkook doesn’t hesitate. “Soon. I’ve been waiting for the right moment. But trust me, I’m in this for the long haul. I’m ready to wife her up whenever she’s ready.”
I burst out laughing at his confidence. “Wow, you’re not even her boyfriend yet, and you’re already thinking about marriage? Aren’t you jumping ahead a little?”
He shrugs, that same determined smile on his face. “Maybe. But I’ve never been more sure of anything in my life. It’s her or no one.”
“Well, I admire your confidence,” I say, still grinning. “But how about we have a little fun with this?”
Jungkook raises an eyebrow, intrigued. “What do you mean?”
“I’ve got a little plan,” I say, glancing over at Y/n, who’s oblivious to our conversation.
“How about we make her a little jealous? I mean, you’re so confident that she’s yours, but let’s see if we can get her riled up just a bit.”
Jungkook laughs, shaking his head. “I don’t think that’ll work. She’s secure, she knows how I feel.”
“Oh, come on!” I insist, a mischievous glint in my eye. “Just for fun! Let’s see if we can get a reaction out of her. I’ll bring my sister over, and we’ll just have a little chat with you. You know, laugh, maybe slap your arm a couple of times, compliment you — just to see what she does.”
Jungkook seems hesitant at first but then grins, clearly enjoying the idea of a little harmless fun. “Alright, but I’m telling you, it’s not going to work.”
“Challenge accepted,” I say with a wink, heading off to find my sister.
It doesn’t take long for us to set the plan into motion. My sister and I head over to where Jungkook is standing, and I start the conversation off innocently enough.
“So, Jungkook,” I say, loud enough for Y/n to hear, “you must have some pretty amazing stories from your time in Oxford. Tell us about them.”
He smirks, playing along. “Oh, nothing too crazy. Just a lot of studying, a lot of training… you know, royal responsibilities.”
My sister giggles, lightly slapping his arm. “Wow, so cool. I can’t imagine what it must be like to be around someone so important all the time.”
Jungkook chuckles, throwing me a knowing glance. “Yeah, it’s not all it’s cracked up to be. But it has its moments.”
I sneak a glance at Y/n, who’s now eyeing us with a furrowed brow, her attention clearly diverted from her conversation with Hyunsik.
Bingo.
“You’re so humble, too,” my sister adds, leaning in a little closer. “I bet you’ve got all sorts of girls fawning over you back in England.”
Jungkook glances over at Y/n, who’s now full-on glaring in our direction. He grins, enjoying this way more than he should. “Nah, there’s only one girl I’m interested in.”
“Oh, really?” my sister says, batting her eyelashes dramatically. “And who’s the lucky lady?”
"Just someone around here.", he motions with his eyes towards Y/n and my sister catches it.
[Jungkook's POV]
I watched Y/n from across the room, my eyes following every move she made. There she was, talking to Hyunsik, laughing, and completely unaware of how much she had me wrapped around her finger.
Tzuyu’s little game with her sister had been amusing for a moment, but I could feel Y/n’s gaze burning into me. That glare was unmistakable. Fierce, almost predatory.
As Tzuyu’s sister giggled and touched my arm again, I froze under Y/n’s intense stare. It was like her eyes were locking me in place, daring me to make a move.
Tzuyu must have noticed the sudden tension, too, because she leaned in, her voice dripping with amusement as she whispered, “Oh, sure, she’s confident about you, Jungkook. But let’s see what she’s going to do now.”
I swallowed, unable to tear my eyes away from Y/n. Her glare was no joke. It was as if she could see right through the little act Tzuyu and I were pulling.
I could practically feel the heat radiating off her, and for a moment, I wondered if maybe I had taken the game too far.
Y/n didn’t say a word at first, but the way she marched toward me told me everything I needed to know. She was pouting, and that fiery determination in her eyes wasn’t something I could ignore.
The second she got close enough, she didn’t hesitate. Her voice was low, dangerous even, and I couldn’t help but find it insanely hot.
“You think you’re clever, don’t you?” she asked, her lips curving into a smirk, though her eyes remained sharp. “You think I didn’t see through your little stunt with Tzuyu’s sister?”
I raised an eyebrow, trying to play it cool even though the heat between us was palpable. “What stunt? I’m just being friendly,” I replied, my tone dripping with sarcasm.
Her eyes narrowed, and she stepped even closer, so close I could feel her breath on my skin. “Friendly?” she scoffed, her voice now a mix of challenge and allure.
“Kookoo, let’s not kid ourselves here. I’ve had you figured out from the start. You’re trying to make me jealous, but it’s not going to work.”
I chuckled, trying to maintain some semblance of control, but there was something about her tonight that had me on edge. She was so fierce, so unapologetically confident, and it was driving me insane.
“Oh? So, you’re not jealous, huh?” I leaned in closer, lowering my voice. “Then why are you here? If you’re not affected, why are you glaring at me like that?”
Y/n crossed her arms over her chest, her posture daring me to keep pushing. “You think I’m here because of you?” she asked, her tone dripping with arrogance. “Kookoo, let me remind you of something. I know I’m on your mind. Constantly. No other woman gets that privilege now, does anyone? Nope. No chance.”
Her words hit me hard, and damn, she wasn’t wrong. She did have me. I couldn’t deny that. But there was no way I was going to let her walk away with the last word.
“Oh, is that right?” I said, my voice low as I took a step forward, closing the distance between us. “You think you’ve got me all figured out? Then explain this, my little one — if you’re so in control, why can’t you keep your eyes off me? Why do you care so much about what I’m doing?”
She tilted her head slightly, her lips curling into a smug smile. “Because I already know what you’re going to do. And I know you're loving it not because you got me riled up, but because you knew this stunt will divert my mind in you and you absolutely loveeeeee my attention."
I swallowed, feeling the tension thickening between us. She wasn’t backing down, and every word she said made me want her more. “You think you’re that good, huh?” I challenged, my voice coming out deeper, more intense.
She smirked, leaning in so that her lips were dangerously close to mine. “I don’t think, Kookoo. I know.”
I couldn’t help but chuckle, shaking my head slightly. “You know what? You’re right. I am obsessed with you. I think about you all the time. But don’t get too comfortable, little one. I’m not the only one who’s affected here.”
Her lips parted slightly, and for a moment, I saw a flicker of something softer in her eyes, something vulnerable. But she quickly masked it with that same confident smirk.
“Maybe. But I’m not afraid to admit it either darling. I dream of you with open eyes and have you always with me here in my heart.”
My breath hitched as I stared at her, completely captivated by this woman standing in front of me. She was fierce, bold, and unapologetic, and it was driving me wild. “You’re something else, you know that?” I said, my voice thick with emotion.
She laughed softly, her eyes locking onto mine with that same intensity. “Yeah, I know. And you love it.”
I couldn’t argue with that. She had me, and there was no point in pretending otherwise. I was completely and utterly gone for her. “Yeah, I do,” I admitted, my voice softening.
As we stood there, staring at each other, I knew one thing for sure — I was completely and utterly in love with this woman, and I wasn’t going to stop fighting for her.
Hyunsik grinned from ear to ear as everyone gathered around the table, the cake glowing with candles. The room was filled with laughter and a warm, happy vibe that made me feel oddly comfortable, even though I wasn’t used to this kind of thing.
Y/n was standing next to me, her eyes bright and mischievous, and as Hyunsik closed his eyes to make a wish before blowing out the candles, I felt her nudge my side playfully.
“Hey,” she whispered, leaning in close. “What would you wish for on your birthday?”
I smirked, my gaze lowering to meet hers. The way she asked, all playful and cute, made me want to push her buttons just a little bit. My voice dropped a notch, taking on a husky edge as I replied, “A baby.”
Her eyes widened slightly, her lips parting in surprise as she blinked at me. I could see the exact moment the shock morphed into realization, and then she gave me a small shove, her cheeks flushed.
“With you,” I added with a grin, watching her reaction.
She hit me lightly on the arm, trying to mask her embarrassment with a laugh.
“Kookoo, you’re such a pervert,” she muttered, but there was no bite in her words, just that playful undertone that told me she wasn’t really mad.
I laughed, loving how flustered she got. “Your pervert, baby,” I corrected, pulling her closer to me. She rolled her eyes but didn’t pull away, and I took that as a win.
As the party continued, the cake was cut, and we all cheered. Tzuyu and Hyunsik had gotten themselves tipsy at some point, and soon, Y/n and I followed suit.
Drinks flowed, music played, and before we knew it, we were dancing together, swaying to the rhythm like we had the whole world to ourselves. Y/n’s laugh was infectious, and I couldn’t stop smiling. Being here with her, in this moment, felt like everything was just right.
At some point, Hyunsik and Tzuyu came over, their faces red from drinking but still smiling wide. “You guys are staying the night, right?” Hyunsik asked, his arm draped lazily around Tzuyu’s shoulders. “No way I’m letting you drive like this.”
I glanced at Y/n, and she shrugged, her eyes sparkling. “Fine by me,” she said. “But only if you have a comfy bed.”
“Oh, we do,” Tzuyu said, laughing. “You’ll be staying in the guest room. It’s perfect.”
Before long, we were upstairs, changed into comfortable clothes, and staring at the guest room bed. Y/n climbed onto it first, stretching out lazily and looking all too comfortable.
I followed her, lying down beside her, but instead of lying down normally, I flopped down onto her chest, making her groan in protest.
“Ugh, Kookoo!” she groaned, trying to push me off. Her hands were weak against my shoulders, and I couldn’t help but grin.
“What?” I mumbled, feigning innocence while keeping myself draped across her. “This is comfy.”
“You’re squishing my chest, you idiot!” she snapped, her voice muffled beneath me as she shoved harder.
I propped myself up on my elbows, still lying over her. “I thought you said you liked me on top,” I teased with a smirk.
She glared at me, her eyes narrowing in mock irritation. “Not when I can’t breathe, you absolute brick!”
I couldn’t stop myself from laughing, lifting myself just enough for her to wiggle out from under me. “Alright, alright. I’ll spare your life this time.”
“Yeah, you better,” she muttered, rubbing her chest dramatically. “If I die, who’s gonna deal with your nonsense?”
“Oh, I’m sure there’d be volunteers,” I shot back, falling onto my side next to her. “Who wouldn’t want a piece of all this?”
She gave me a sarcastic look, rolling her eyes. “Yeah, sure, dream on.”
Before I could say anything else, she turned to me with a glint in her eye. “Wait. Spoon me.”
I blinked, raising an eyebrow. “You? Want me to spoon you?”
She nodded, completely serious. “Yeah, but I want to be the big spoon this time.”
I laughed, shaking my head. “No way. I’m the big spoon.”
Her expression turned defiant as she sat up. “I call dibs on being the big spoon! It’s my turn.”
“You can’t just call dibs,” I retorted, crossing my arms over my chest. “I’m always the big spoon. That’s the rule.”
“Screw the rule!” she huffed, pushing me playfully. “I want to be the big spoon for once!"
I smirked, shaking my head. “Too bad. I’m bigger, so I’m the big spoon. That’s how it works.”
She narrowed her eyes at me, a mischievous glint in them. “You just like being in control.”
“You caught me,” I said, leaning in closer to her, my voice low. “But let’s face it, little one. You like it when I’m in control.”
She blushed, but didn’t back down. “I’ll fight you for it,” she declared, sitting up on her knees.
I snorted. “You? Fight me? You’d lose in three seconds.”
“Oh yeah?” She raised her fists playfully, ready to “fight” me. “I could totally take you down. Don’t underestimate me.”
I laughed, leaning back on my elbows. “Alright, tough girl. But I guess I've a better offer to make to you."
She tilted her head, raising an eyebrow. “And what is that?”
I grinned. “You let me be the big spoon, and I’ll sing for you.”
She pouted, knowing full well I had her. “You’re cheating. That’s not fair.”
“Fair? I don’t play fair, babe,” I teased, pulling her back down onto the bed. “But come on. You get me singing and I get to spoon you? It’s a win-win.”
She huffed but didn’t argue further, snuggling back into me. “Fine. But you owe me a big spoon moment next time.”
“Deal,” I said, wrapping my arms around her and pulling her close. “Now just relax and let me handle the rest.”
“Better be a good song,” she mumbled, still pretending to pout.
“Oh, it will be,” I whispered into her ear, making her shiver as I began to softly sing.
As I wrapped my arms around her, pulling her into the perfect spooning position, I could feel her relax against me.
Her back pressed into my chest, her soft hair tickling my nose, and it felt… right. I couldn’t help but smile as I began softly singing the words to “There’s Nothing Like Us.”
“There's nothing like us, there's nothing like you and me, together through the storm…”
Her body stilled for a moment as she listened, her breathing slowing. I knew this song was special to her — it was special to us.
The lyrics hit a little too close to home, reminding me of everything we’d been through together, all the ups and downs that had led us to this exact moment.
“There's nothing like us, there's nothing like you and me, together…”
I continued, my voice soft but steady, and I could feel her relax even more against me. It was like she was letting go of everything, just allowing herself to be in this moment with me.
I couldn’t help but tighten my hold on her, my heart swelling with emotions I couldn’t quite put into words.
As I reached the next verse, I pressed a soft kiss to the back of her head. “I gave you everything, baby, everything I had to give…”
The words felt so relevant, like they were written for us. I had given her everything — my heart, my time, my love. And she had given me something I didn’t even know I needed: a sense of home, a place where I belonged.
“Girl, why would you push me away?”
I whispered the last line, my voice trailing off as I felt her shift slightly in my arms. I glanced down and saw that her eyes were closed, her breathing slow and steady. She was drifting off to sleep, lulled by the sound of my voice and the warmth of our shared space.
A soft smile tugged at my lips as I rested my chin on top of her head, holding her a little tighter. I could feel the steady rise and fall of her chest against mine, the way her body fit so perfectly against me.
“There’s nothing like us,” I whispered, finishing the song just as she slipped into sleep.
For a while, I just lay there, watching her breathe, my heart full. She was everything I could ever want, and more than I ever deserved. She was fierce, bold, and completely herself, and I loved every bit of her. Being here, holding her like this, made me realize just how lucky I was.
She was my everything.
With a soft sigh, I closed my eyes, pressing one last kiss to her head before letting myself relax completely. Tomorrow would come soon enough, but for now, this was all I needed — just her, just us, together. There was nothing like it, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
[Next Morning]
[Y/N's POV]
The morning light streamed through the curtains, soft and golden, casting a warm glow across the room. I groaned, rubbing the sleep from my eyes as I stretched out on the bed, feeling the soreness in my limbs from the night before.
The party had gone longer than expected, and I wasn’t exactly a morning person.
I rolled over, expecting to see Jungkook still sleeping, but instead, I was met with his amused face, sitting at the edge of the bed, fully dressed, gawking at me.
His black shirt clung to his chest in all the right ways, and those glasses—those stupid, adorable glasses—framed his face perfectly.
“Morning, sleepyhead,” he said with a grin, watching me with those dark eyes that always made me weak. “You planning to sleep through brunch, or what?”
I groaned, burying my face in the pillow. “Five more minutes.”
“Nope, no can do.” He reached over and tugged at the blanket, pulling it away from me with a mischievous grin. “We’ve got places to be, babe. You can’t just hide under there forever.”
I peeked out from under the pillow, glaring at him. “You’re evil.”
“And you’re cute when you’re grumpy,” he teased, tossing the blanket to the side.
I sighed dramatically, pushing myself up on my elbows. “Fine, fine. I’m getting up.” As I swung my legs over the side of the bed, I squinted around the room. “Where the hell are my contacts?”
“Forgot them, remember?” Jungkook smirked, pointing at my glasses on the nightstand. “Guess you’re going with the specs today.”
I frowned, grabbing the glasses and shoving them onto my face. “Ugh. I hate wearing these.”
He chuckled, standing up and adjusting his own glasses as he walked over to the mirror, fixing his hair. “You look cute in them, though.”
“Yeah, sure,” I muttered, still half-asleep as I stood up and padded over to the wardrobe, pulling out my last night's clothes. “You’re just saying that because you have a thing for nerds.”
“Who said I didn’t?” he shot back, his voice laced with amusement. “Besides, I look damn good in mine, so you should appreciate the solidarity.”
I glanced over at him, watching as he posed in front of the mirror, adjusting his glasses like he was in some kind of GQ photoshoot. “You’re ridiculous.”
“And you love it,” he replied without missing a beat, flashing me a grin.
I rolled my eyes but couldn’t help the small smile tugging at my lips. “Whatever, weirdo.”
As I slipped into my jeans and oversized sweater, I caught sight of myself in the mirror and made a face. “Great. I look like I just rolled out of bed.”
“You did just roll out of bed,” Jungkook pointed out, walking over and wrapping his arms around my waist from behind, his chin resting on my shoulder.
“But you still look perfect to me.”
I snorted. “You’re biased.”
“Maybe,” he hummed, pressing a soft kiss to my neck. “But it doesn’t make it any less true.”
I felt a blush creeping up my neck at his words, and I quickly shook him off before he could notice.
“Alright, enough of that. We’ve got to meet Hyunsik and Tzuyu downstairs. You’re already dressed, and I’m not even halfway ready.”
He gave me one last kiss on the cheek before stepping back, raising his hands in mock surrender. “Okay, okay. I’ll let you finish.”
I threw him a playful glare, grabbing my shoes. “You better.”
As I laced them up, Jungkook flopped back onto the bed, watching me with that amused, almost lazy look that told me he was enjoying this way too much. “So, what do you think Hyunsik’s gonna tease you about today?”
“Please,” I scoffed, “he’s probably got a whole list. If it’s not how fast things are going with us, it’ll be something about my supposed rebel.”
Jungkook grinned, "Whatever it be, the credit certainly goes to me."
I rolled my eyes at his remark, combing my hair, "Oh sure it does, Kookoo."
“Now, come on. We’re going to be late if you keep sitting there gawking at me.”, I said looking at my face in the mirror one last time .
He got up, grabbing his jacket and slipping it on as he followed me to the door. “I’m not gawking. I’m… appreciating.”
I shot him a look over my shoulder. “Whatever helps you sleep at night, Kookoo.”
He chuckled, ruffling my hair as we headed down the stairs to meet the others. When we got to the living room, Hyunsik was already waiting, a mischievous grin plastered on his face.
“Well, well, well,” Hyunsik teased, looking between the two of us. “Look who’s already wrapped around her finger.”
I smirked, crossing my arms. “He always was, Hyunsik. And for the record, I’m wrapped around his, too.”
“Oh?” Hyunsik’s grin widened. “Already fallen for him in a day, huh?”
I shook my head, laughing lightly. “It’s not about a day. It’s… it’s a lot more than that.”
Hyunsik raised a brow, clearly enjoying himself. “Sure you’re not just with him for the big ass mall he gifted you? I mean, if I was a girl, I’d totally be with him for that.”
I laughed, shaking my head. “Oh, totally. You know me, Hyunsik, all about that. Honestly, the only reason I’m still here.”
“See? I knew it,” Hyunsik said, throwing a wink in Jungkook’s direction. “Watch out, man. She’s after your stash.”
Jungkook rolled his eyes, but a small smile played at his lips as he watched the banter unfold.
Tzuyu joined us then, looking effortlessly chic as always, her own glasses perched on her nose. “Are we ready to go, or are you two still flirting?”
“Always flirting,” I replied with a grin, grabbing Jungkook’s hand as we headed out the door.
As we made our way to the car, Hyunsik kept up the teasing, recounting some ridiculous story from the last time we were at the mall.
“Remember those women who got fired from Wang Vera’s store?” he said, his tone all exaggerated like he was narrating some epic tale. “All because they didn’t give Y/n enough respect? Ooooh, Jungkook was all ‘treat my lady with respect,’ and all that but more aggressive.”
Jungkook groaned, his face flushing as he tried to hide behind me. “Hyunsik, don’t bring that up.”
“Oh, I’m bringing it up,” Hyunsik replied, laughing. “You were ready to throw your hands for Y/n, man.”
I just shook my head at him before slipping into the car, leaving him standing there, flustered and red-faced. Hyunsik and Tzuyu were still laughing as Jungkook finally got in, his hand finding mine once more as we drove off toward brunch.
It wasn’t long before we arrived at the mall, Jungkook's mall to be precise, heading straight for our favorite Italian restaurant.
As we sat down at the booth, I couldn’t help but notice the way Jungkook kept licking his lip ring—an old habit of his.
“Why do you always play with your lip ring?” I asked, leaning forward with curiosity.
He glanced at me, that familiar smirk tugging at his lips. “Hmm… because you haven’t put a ring on my finger yet, so I’m compromising with my lip ring for now.”
My heart skipped a beat, and I felt the blush creeping up my neck. “Kookoo, seriously?”
He just winked at me, clearly enjoying the reaction he was getting.
“Pervert,” I muttered, swatting him away playfully.
“Just your pervert,” he replied, leaning back in his chair with that smug grin of his.
I couldn’t help but laugh, shaking my head. “You’re impossible.”
“I know,” he said simply, his eyes softening as he looked at me. “But you love me anyway.”
And damn it, I did.
As we continued eating, I remembered something. "Wait… that reminds me. You told me about that sun ring—where’s your part of it?"

I saw Jungkook tense up slightly at the question. His eyes flickered to mine, and for a moment, I saw the hesitation. “Uh, my mom has it,” he finally said, his voice a bit quieter than usual.
I raised an eyebrow. “Your mom? Why does she have it?”
He shrugged, clearly trying to brush it off. “I’ll get it from her soon.”
I could tell there was more to the story, but before I could press further, the waiter arrived with our desserts. I had ordered my favorite: chocolate pie. But just as I was about to dig in, Jungkook, with that cheeky grin of his, tried to stop me.
“Don’t eat that,” he said, narrowing his eyes at my plate.
I froze mid-bite, glaring at him. “And why not?”
“Because,” he said, leaning in, his voice low, “you’ve been eating way too much Dairy Milk these days. You’ll get diabetes at this rate.”
I scoffed, narrowing my eyes back at him. “I’m perfectly happy with diabetes as long as I’m getting my sweet tooth.”
He rolled his eyes, clearly not pleased with my response. “You’re impossible.”
“And you’re rude,” I shot back, taking a defiant bite of my chocolate pie.
“Oh, am I?” Jungkook crossed his arms, giving me that sarcastic, almost playful glare. “Well, then maybe I should confiscate your chocolate for your own good.”
“You try that,” I said, glaring at him, throwing my specs away, and diverting my head away from him, "There. I don't wanna see you, you irritating good ball."
Yup. I just threw my specs away.
Refusing to see him properly cause my low ass vision would never let me.
Hyunsik and Tzuyu burst into laughter at our back-and-forth banter, clearly enjoying the show. Tzuyu leaned over, grinning at us. “You two bicker like an old married couple, you know that?”
Jungkook turned bright red again, but instead of saying anything, he just got up from his chair and walked over to where I was sitting. He leaned down next to me, placing his hands on the back of my chair as he stared into my eyes.
“If you don’t wear your specs now and stop troubling your eyes,” he said in that low, dangerous voice of his, “I’m going to get mad.”
I stared right back at him, feeling the challenge in the air. “Oh yeah? And what if you get mad? What are you going to do? Punish me, daddy?” I said with a teasing smirk.
Jungkook’s eyes widened, and he coughed at the word ‘daddy.’ His cheeks flushed, but then his expression changed into that cocky smirk I knew all too well.
“You want punishment, huh? Okay then, if you don’t wear your specs, I’ll make you watch porn with me.”, he whispered in my ear.
My cheeks flushed at his sudden statement. “Excuse me?” I stammered, swatting his chest.
“And not just on any screen,” he added, leaning even closer. “On a mirror.”
I was blushing furiously now, my mind spinning at the implications of his words. “Kookoo!” I swatted his chest again, finally reaching for my specs and putting them back on.
Jungkook laughed, clearly enjoying himself as he straightened up. Tzuyu, who had been watching the whole thing, raised an eyebrow. “What did he say to get you to wear your specs that fast?”
Jungkook grinned, turning to Tzuyu with a casual shrug. “Nothing. Just told her she wouldn’t get to ride the bike if she didn’t wear them, and it worked.”
Hyunsik burst out laughing. “Oh, she loves riding. No wonder it worked.”
Jungkook smirked, his eyes flickering to mine with a playfulint.
“Oh, I bet she does love..... Riding."
